Occupy Wall Street Is Gaining Traction – People Are Angry For Good Reason
There is virtually NO media coverage of this the 14th day of protest on Wall Street…why? The people are angry and not going to take the corruption any longer. Will this type of protest gain traction and move to a city near you? I think so. The Vietnam war protests started off small and localized like this 40 years ago and turned into a national event…history repeats itself.

I’m just confused I guess….
Yes everyone is pissed of the corruption…
These protests, and I love a good one, what is the desired end result?
Surely 50million in peaceful protest can not stop the higher up corruption….
As in any protest, if there is not a clear, achievable end result, if will wither out in a very short time….
All I am searching for is this end result…
I hope these people know the difference between Capitalism and Corporatism.
All to often we have politicians ignorantly scapegoating Capitalism, when the problem is Corporatism/Crony Capitalism.
A word of advise (constructive criticism) Keith?
“Your comment is awaiting moderation” Not sure if you’re editing out bad language or what, but everyone should have their “two cents” weather we like it or not. Censorship sux, even if you don’t like hearing what others have to say. If there is some other reason for it? let me know.
The only censorship we are doing is stopping advertising spam. I let all legit comments through.
I am trying to give “occupy” a shot here, but I still have no answer…
All I get from the Occupy Columbus group is how the are pissed about govt’ & corp greed…
Then they want to meet at Panera Bread to figure out how to stop<???
Then when I ask what the realistic desired outcome is, they reply with how this corruption is compared to genocide and WWII!!! <???
Yes people are pissed. Yet even if they get 1,000 to "occupy" in every proposed city, they still have less than a main gay pride parade. They were pissed, they had numbers, they even had a desired outcome. It's been years on years & they are just recently starting to get their "end result."
There is no stopping this hijacked train. It has only real outcomes, TPTB will continue down the track, faster & faster until it derails, and we're almost there. Or some terrorist will blow up the tracks causing a derailment. Either way, a few 1,000 standing on the tracks won't stop it, they can't stop it & I'm sure they are aware of this. It would take millions to stand in front of & stop this train, millions.
Just saying, we just have to make it till it wipes out….
I liked this coverage of the protest — http://bit.ly/oydgLr — and thought the photos really captured the story.
I personally think these people are idiots.
They complain about corporate greed, yet they all want a job so they can feed their families (if they have them).
Do they not understand that corporations have to make a profit in order to employee them?
Do they not understand that PROFIT is the name of the game?
The idiots that voted Obama in are the same idiots that feel entitled to take hand-outs from ‘people making over 250k’.
These people seriously need to grow up, let’s pray to GOD that they never reproduce, and even more importantly… let’s hope they don’t become hypocrites for accepting a job that was created in the name of ‘corporate greed’.
This movement is getting worse and spreading like a virus.
The idiots that support this are as moronic as those that voted in Obama.
Good LORD, can the stupidity level get ANY higher?
Does ANYONE on this blog actually support these idiots?
If so, state your point of view.
